IN MEMORY OF: Clyde Frazier (1886-1961) and Gretchen Culter (1898-1964)
DONOR: Ruth Frazier
DATE GIVEN: 1965
COMMENTS: Clyde Frazier and his wife, Ruth, resided in Mt. Vernon for many years. Clyde was an oil producer. Gretchen Culter made her home with her sister, Ruth, for several years before her death. After the deaths of Clyde and Gretchen, Ruth moved back to Des Moines, Iowa.

The windows have the memorials incorporated within the stained glass. When the windows were originally installed this was not the case. The glass company had expected (although Ruth had made clear what she wanted) that the usual brass plates would be mounted on the wooden window frames. Ruth made the company come back and modify the windows to her original specification.
