  parish history
+ Trinity Church was formally organized as a mission on March 15, 1878.
+ The cornerstone of the current church building was laid in 1908.
+ The first service in the current church building was held on January 3, 1909.
+ The Parish Hall was dedicated on October 12, 1969.

  About the Church
+ The windows of Trinity (except the original windows from 1909) are the work of a single family of glass artists from the Unique Art Glass Company of St. Louis, MO.
+ The Gable Cross on the east end of the roof above the Rose Window was designed by Mr. Bob Smith of Reinard, IL, and dedicated July 31, 1994.

+ Trinity is a parish in the Eastern Deanery of the Episcopal Diocese of Springfield. A deanery is a group of churches within a diocese, usually grouped by geographical proximity.
+ The 10th Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Springfield is The Rt. Rev. Peter H. Beckwith.
+ The Episcopal Diocese of Springfield is in Province 5 of The Episcopal Church in the U.S.A.
+ The Diocese of Springfield is also part of the Anglican Communion Network, and therefore part of The Common Cause Partnership.
